I am elated to announce that I have been selected as a Council on Social Work Education Doctoral Student Policy Fellow (2025/2026).
I am extremely happy that my hard work is finally starting to pay off and God has come through like He always does.
I am looking forward to engaging with policymakers and stakeholders about the issues dear to my heart.
This is a great honor and I plan to make the most of this opportunity.
I also need to thank my wonderful advisor Dr. Luciana Giorgio and PhD Program Director Dr. Noh at The University of Alabama School of Social Work for writing letters of support on my behalf.
I look forward to continuing to break barriers as an international student. This is for me and for all of my peers who come from all over the world in pursuit of a high-class education in the U.S!
